He was educated in Bergen and Robeson County Schools. He made his earthly transition on July 15, 2018 at Kindred Hospital. Bishop Clemons was united in holy matrimony to Elder Harriett Clemons. Bishop Clemons, affectionately known as "Da' Bishop" accepted the Lord as his personal Savior, under the ministry of the Late Apostle Amelia McLean at Deliverance Temple of Truth #1 in Dillon, South Carolina, in 1994. There, he received the divine calling to preach and then was ordained as an Evangelist. Bishop Clemons worked in Deliverance Temple of Truth of #1 Church as a Sunday School Teacher. He was also assigned by Apostle McLean as the radio Sunday School Teacher in Fairmont, North Carolina as well as the National Sunday School Superintendent and a member of the Board of Directors in the Temple of Truth Ministries.
