Angelo Brooks

Angelo Brooks was born on May 28, 1976, to the late Howard Brooks, Sr. and Verna Mae Brooks of Homosassa, Florida. Angelo attended the Citrus County Public School System and graduated from Lecanto High School in 1995. Angelo was a cook at Mama Sallie's Restaurant for 6 years as well as Charlie's Seafood House of Crystal River until he became ill.  Angelo loved to cook and host cookouts for family and friends. He enjoyed watching football and was a Miami Hurricane football fan through and through. On August 14, 2021, Angelo Brooks went home to be with the Lord. He leaves behind his mother, Verna Mae Brooks; three sisters, Juanita Brooks of Crystal River, FL., Monica Brooks (Solomon) of Tampa, FL., and Sophia Brooks of Crystal River, FL; his older brother, Howard Brooks, Jr. of Crystal River, FL.; two nephews, Xavier Lockley and Deandre Franklin of Crystal River, FL.;  three nieces, Shaneicsha Brooks of Tampa FL., Kayla Ramsey and Janella Ramsey of Homosassa, FL.; five grand nieces; one grand-nephew; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  Angelo had two special cousins TK and Daniel Gainer that he cherished dearly.

*Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have implemented necessary procedures during Visitations, Funeral Ceremonies, Gravesides, and other public and private ceremonies.  We do ask that all visitors of these services to please continue to wear your masks and please remember to social distance.  These new policies may be inconvenient, but due to the severity of the virus, we ask that everyone be considerate, patient, and safe with others as we try to get through this most difficult time.  Seating during services may be limited so please be considerate of the immediate family especially.  

*If you are attending a Graveside service or an Outdoor Celebration you are welcomed to bring your own chair as seating will be limited!  We will provide water to make everyone as comfortable as possible.  We thank you in advance for your cooperation during this time. We pray that everyone stays safe and cooperative with the current CDC rules.
