Alonzo Norton Obituary

Alonzo Norton aka “Slow Love” was born on November 7, 1973 in Palatka, Florida to the late Clifford Norton and Linda Mays. Brother Norton resided for the majority of his life in the Zephyrhills, FL area and was a high school graduate at Zephyrhills High School.  He was working in the construction and roofing business until he became disabled. Brother Norton devoted his life to Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ at an early age. He was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, in Lacoochee, FL.  Brother Norton departed this life on Saturday, February 1, 2020. Brother Norton leaves precious memories with those who loved him:  a loving sister and caregiver, Brandy McNeill (David); a loving brother Anthony Clark Sr.(Vanessa); loving aunts, Theresa Foster, Cynthia Rooks, Sonja Norton, Vicky Norton, Caybertha Norton, and Saphyena Green;a  loving uncle who recently passed away, Roscoe Foster; loving cousins Herman Canty III (Kim), Roscoe James, Alexis Hodges, Christopher Alexander (Jenna) (like a best friend), Alecia Alexander, Jasmine Merritt (like a best friend), Aaliyah Norton (Kayel),  Mike Campbell (Tamika), Artagus Calloway, Mary Calloway and Jamie Simmons; loving nieces Nariam Clark, Tatyana Brown, Nakeyia Clark, Aniyah Clark, Brianna Clark and Niaya McNeill; loving nephews, Anthony Clark Jr, Jamarrion Clark, Ameer McNeill, Azavier McNeill and his “favorite” baby Jayce Clark; close family friends LaTasha McKnight, Peaches Church, Robert Giles (Chico), Oscar; and a host of other family and friends
