Alfred L. Doctor

Alfred Lorenzo Doctor was born on March 18, 1951 to the late Lucille Williams Doctor Rooks and Robert Doctor in Lacoochee, Fl.

Alfred was educated in the Pasco County School System graduating from the historical Moore Mickens High School in 1968. Alfred served in the United States Air Force for 12 years. Alfred was an entrepreneur and created many positions for himself, one of those being the best car detailer in Pasco County. Alfred dedicated his life to God at an early age and was a long time and faithful member of New Bethel AME Church Lacoochee.

Alfred is a descendant of the historical Rosewood Family. He is loved by many and will be missed by many more. Alfred never met a stranger and would talk to you until there were no more words left to say. Alfred’s beaming personality, humor, sweet smelling cologne and unique fashion style will never be duplicated.

Alfred was preceded in death by his daughter Vonketrishe N. Howard; grandparents, Alfonso A and Thelma Hawkins, Bonus Father Hamp Rooks and his loving sister Barbara Jean Doctor Scantling Moore, Bonus Sister Pat Doctor Martin(Marcus) and Bonus Sister Robbietta Doctor.

Alfred is mourned by his children, Rashad Doctor, Houston Tx; Jasmine Doctor, Orlando, Fl, Diamond Doctor, Jacksonville, Fl; Rakeem Ishmar (Denver, CO); Day Graham (Jeff), Phoenix, AZ; Latrell Johnson, Pensacola, Fl.

Alfred will be dearly missed by his brothers Michael Jerome Doctor and Gregory Tyrone Doctor (Paris). Alfred’s most cherished title was that of PaPa & Grandaddy his grandchildren Takeya L. Howard, Bryand D. Wilson, B’Lijah Wilson, Scaori L. Timms, Sanketric L. Timms, Cameron Day, Jasmine Day, Zuri and Emmari Doctor, Kaliyah and K’lynn Davis, Catrina Jackson and a Great grandson, Josiah F. Bratley will definitely be filled with his memories. The family would like to give Thank You to his special friend, Zebbie Connelly. Alfred will also be deeply missed by his sister-cousins Evelyn Williams and Bernadette Wright (Sam). Alfred’s family also includes a host of nieces and nephews too many to name; but all loved just the same who will forever remember, cherish and laugh about Uncle Alfred.
