Akeem Harris was born on July 14, 1989 in Dade City, Florida to the Late Samuel Harris and Beverly Coleman. He attended the Pasco County school system. Akeem was a loving husband, father of five children, a loving son, and a loving brother. He was a kind and thoughtful person, who would put himself last and go without while helping others. As a child, Akeem showed his love for music by leaving lyrics all over the house, which he continued until his passing. Akeem had a natural gift for writing and composing music, and his voice touch many around him. Akeem and his family moved to Lousiville, Kentucky 2 years ago, for a chance of a better life, but god knew best. God had a plan for his son, Akeem, and called him home on August 5, 2023. He was proceeded in death by his father, Samuel Harris; grandmother, Carolyn James; step-father, Fred Coleman; aunt, Yvonne Harris; and grandmother, Pauline Boyce. Akeem leaves behind and will be greatly missed by his wife, Ja’Kayla Harris; his sons, Karter Harris, Zayden Harris, Bryson Harris, Kavontae Harris, and Jayce Lee; his mother, Beverly Coleman (David); his brother, Elijah Harris (Tiya); his sister, Jazmine Doctor, and Alexis Coleman; his nieces, Kaliyah Davis, K’Lynn Davis, and Jaliyah Harris; his nephews, Julian Harris, Jasiah Harris; his uncle and aunts, Gary (Stacie) Boyce, Jamie (Mariesol) Harris, Sherwin (Sharlene) Boyce, Sheldon Boyce, Patricia Harris, Keith (Edit) McDonald and Shawn Johnson; and the host of cousins, great uncles, great aunts and sorrowing relatives and friends.
