Mary Lee McKinley was born in Trilby, Florida on January 27, 1928 to the Late Lee Jenkins and Carrie Jenkins. Mary received her formal education at Moore Academy in Dade City, Florida. After living between Twin Lake and Trilby, Florida, she relocated to LaBelle, Florida where she resided for many years. Mary married L. C. McKinley and to their union, they raised and adopted a total of 5 children. Mary began her career by owning her own trucking company. She later became employed by Labelle Bridge, where she worked as a Booth Controller until her retirement. Mary was a faithful member of Church of Peace, where any given Sunday she could be found doing the work of ministry. On January 16, 2018 our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ called her home to eternal rest. She was preceded in death by; 2 siblings, Ottis Jenkins and Zaro Lee Jenkins; 2 daughters, Joe Carolyn Fulton Sands and Christine Spencer.She leaves to cherish her memories: 3 children: Yvonne Boyce, Darniel Williams and Charles Williams III all of LaBelle, Florida. 6 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends; a loving and devoted cousin and caregiver, Joel Steele and others.
