Jerome Christopher Hawkins, Jr. affectionately known as “Chris” was born in Zephyrhills, Florida on October 23, 1987 to Elvera Lee and Jerome Christopher Hawkins, Sr. Chris graduated from Port Saint Lucie High School. He devoted himself to providing for his family as a dedicated employee at Southeast Bottling and Beverage Company, Dade City, Florida. Chris was adored by numerous friends and family members. He earned the name “Drop King” for his love and compassion for video games. He also enjoyed fishing and spades. Chris departed this life on Thursday, October 3, 2019. Chris leaves precious memories with those who loved him. Four devoted children, Mya Hawkins, Christopher Hawkins, Daniel Lynds, (mother, Cotee Benjamin), and Jayceon Hawkins, (mother, Dana Miller); a devoted and loving mother, Elvera Lee; father, Jerome Christopher Hawkins, Sr.; sister, Erica Hawkins; brothers, Brandon Lee, Steven Yeager, and Julian Ford, Jr.; grandmother, Sophia Taylor; and a host of other relatives and friends.
