Sylvia Izetta (Calhoun) Camelien

Sylvia Izetta Calhoun-Camelien, daughter of the Late Lillian and Robert C.Calhoun, Sr. was born in Dade City, FL June 29, 1947. She accepted Christ at a young age and joined St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church at the age of 11. She graduated from Mickens High School with the Class of 1965. . Sylvia aspired to be a cosmetologist at a early age and attended a Vocational School in St. Petersburg, FL and also took cosmetology courses at Pasco High school. Sylvia had an array of hobbies such as; fishing, traveling, baking, cooking , a connoisseur of the card as well as had a exquisite diverse palate for food.  She truly loved the Lord as well as all of her friends and family.  Sylvia departed this life peacefully in the loving arms of Christ on December 6, 2017.  Sylvia leaves to cherish her memories: three children; Vicki Buchanan (Denton), Velicia Ardis Carter and  Andrew P. Clarke, Jr. She had one son who preceded her in death, Alexander P Clarke (Lil Man); two loving siblings; Helen Jaunita Calhoun and Robert C.Calhoun Jr.;  like a daughter, Markisha Williams; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorowing relatives and friends .
