Rudolph J. Hicks Jr. was born April 18, 1974 to Rudolph Hicks Sr. and Helen J. Calhoun.  Rudolph attended and graduated from Pasco County Schools. Rudolph participated in various athletic activities such as track, football, wrestling, and baseball. He also was apart of R.O.T.C.  Rudolph accepted Christ at an early age at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. He later moved to Sarasota, Florida and rededicated his life to Christ on May 28, 2017 at Bayside Community Church. He returned to Dade City and continued his fellowship with St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church until the Lord called him home.   Rudolph had a true passion for singing and rapping. He enjoyed eating and creating new food dishes. Rudolph made friends everywhere he went. He was very compassionate and believed in sharing whatever he had. Rudolph was loved for his generosity toward everyone he met.  Rudolph, a devoted son, father, uncle and friend will be sorely missed.  A handsome and charming young man departed from this life on December 15, 2017 to be reunited with his brother Cedric L Calhoun Sr. who proceeded him in death.  He leaves to cherish his memories: 2 children, Shi'mon A. Hicks,  Lyn'Neyah A. Hicks of Brooksville Florida (Tomika Harris mother); father, Rudolph Hicks Sr. of Columbus, Georgia,; mother, Helen J. Calhoun of Dade City Florida; brother, Trvarris Hogan of Columbus, Georgia; godson, Willie Williams of Dade City, Florida; 1 niece, Antionette Calhoun of Orlando, Florida; 1 nephew, Cedric Calhoun Jr. of Dade City, Florida; 3 uncles, Robert Calhon Jr. of Zephyrhills, Florida, Richard R. Hicks of Alexandria, Virginia, Bobby L Hicks of Columbus, Georgia; his significant other, Joanus Streeter of Melbourne, Florida; 5 god brothers, Michael Harrison of Dade City, Florida, Develance Burgess Sr. of Tampa Florida, Mylon Brown of Trilby, Florida, Lavelle Miller of Dade City Florida and Johnny Peyton Sr. of Dade City, Florida; 4 god sisters, Keshia Coffie of Ft. .Lauderdale, Florida, Robin Roberts, Emerald Jackson of Zephyrhills, Florida, Charmaine Black of Zephyrhills, Florida; and a host of relatives and other sorrowing friends.
