Pastor Delois Harris Taylor was born on March 22, 1948 in Fort Myers, Florida to the Late Frank Knight and the Late Willie Mae Washington. Delois departed this life on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 in Brooksville, Florida surrounded by love ones. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age at Mt Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, Brooksville, Florida. Delois served faithfully in numerous offices to include Announcer, Secretary, Senior Choir, Sunday School Teacher and Pastor. She received her formal education at Moton High School, Brooksville, Florida, and Pasco-Hernando Community College, Dade City, Florida. After graduating high school, she married the Late Elder Robert Taylor Sr. She was employed by Hernando County School System for many years. She is survived by her loving and devoted children, Yvonne Taylor of Brandon, Florida, Robert Taylor Jr. of Lithia, Florida, and Antoinette Sanders of Decatur, Georgia. She also leaves to mourn and cherish her memory eight grandchildren; three brothers, Robert Harris Sr, Louis Dunson and Elijah Harris Sr.; one sister, Debbie Harris; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
