Mother Florence M. Amos was born January 5, 1937 in Brownwood, Georgia to the Late Quincy and Henrietta Key.  Florence was reared and received her formal education in Brownswood County Public School System.  Mother Amos met and married the love of her life, Homer Amos Sr. and to this union 4 children were born: Flora, Homer Jr., Magdeline and David.  Florence was employed with Kraft Foods for over 15 years.  Mother Amos accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and served faithfully in the church until her health began to fail.  She was a member of Gospel Temple Church of God in Christ, Ocala, Florida under the leadership of her husband, Emeritus Superintendent Homer Amos Sr.  She loved the Lord and worked in various capacities of the church.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Buddy, Charlie and Willie; and one sister, Ethel.  She leaves cherished memories with her loving and devoted husband, Emeritus Superintendent Homer Amos, Sr.; her loving children, Flora Ford, Homer Amos Jr. (Voncelia), Magdeline Davis (Willie) and David Amos (Roslyn); 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; her brother  Quincy Key Jr. (Odessa); brother-in-law, Elder Ronnie Amos; sister-in-law, Minnie Anderson; and a host of other sorrowing relatives and sorrowing friends.
