Juanita Cooper, affectionately known to many as “Mamma Nita” was born July 20, 1929 in Jackson County Florida to the Late Major Robinson and the Late Cartie Barkley. She received her formal education in Jackson County. In 1950 she relocated to Dade City, Florida where she met the love of her life, Isadore Cooper and to this union seven children were born. Mrs Cooper accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Zion AME Church where she served faithfully as a Stewardess and was a member of the Usher Board. She was a very loving and caring person who will be missed by all who knew and loved her dearly. Mrs. Cooper worked many years as a housekeeper until her retirement.
